Technology is everywhere in education: Public schools in the United States now provide at least one computer for every five students. They spend more than $3 billion per year on digital content. Led by the federal government, the country is in the midst of a massive effort to make affordable high-speed Internet and free online teaching resources available to even the most rural and remote schools. And in 2015-16, for the first time, more state standardized tests for the elementary and middle grades will be administered via technology than by paper and pencil.

GNOME 3.32 RELEASED & COMING TO FEDORA 30

Today, the GNOME project announced the release of GNOME 3.32.

The release of the GNOME desktop is the default desktop environment in the upcoming release of Fedora 30 Workstation. GNOME 3.32 includes a wide range of enhancements, including: new default application icons, a new emoji chooser in the on screen keyboard, and improved per-app permissions control.

SETTING KERNEL COMMAND LINE ARGUMENTS WITH FEDORA 30

Adding options to the kernel command line is a common task when debugging or experimenting with the kernel. The upcoming Fedora 30 release made a change to use Bootloader Spec (BLS). Depending on how you are used to modifying kernel command line options, your workflow may now change. Read on for more information.

in there, you are running with the BLS setup and you may need to change how you set kernel command line arguments.

MAYANTARA: RUANG BUDAYA BARU DI INTERNET

Selamat datang di mayantara alias cyberspace. Cyberspace adalah tempat kita berada ketika mengarungi dunia informasi global interaktif yang bernama Internet. Secara fisik, Internet tak lain adalah sekumpulan komputer, tersebar di seluruh dunia, yang dihubungkan satu sama lain melalui jaringan telekomunikasi satelit global dan kabel telepon lokal. Istilah cyberspace itu sendiri diciptakan oleh seorang penulis fiksi ilmiah, William Gibson, yang membayangkan adanya dunia maya atau virtual di dalam jaringan komputer yang mensimulasikan dunia nyata kita sehari-hari. Memang sulit dibayangkan bila belum dialami. Namun, sebuah uraian singkat berikut ini mungkin bisa memperjelas.

KETIDAKBERHINGGAAN

Dengan membicarakan efek sampingnya, renungan yang lebih intens ternyata melontarkan persoalan yang bahkan lebih menakutkan: Ketakberhinggaan.

Tiga pangkat dua ditambah empat pangkat dua sama dengan sembilan ditambah enam belas, sama dengan dua puluh lima. Sisi miring sama dengan akar dua puluh lima. jadi sisi miring sama dengan lima.

Pythagoras: Semua adalah Bilangan

Pythagoras (572-480 SM)

Pythagoras adalah perpaduan antara Enstein dan Maharesi. Dia mendukung agama yang berdasarkan pada perpindahan jiwa dan keberdosaan memakan buncis. Dia berkhutbah pada binatang.

Dalam masyarakat yang dibangunnya, laki-laki dan perempuan adalah sederajat, harta benda dimiliki bersama, dan bahkan penemuan matematika pun bersifat kolektif. Pythagoras menemukan hubungan antara angka dan musik. Titi nada bergantung kepada panjang senar yang menghasilkan nada tersebut.
